If women have a chance to work and earn as full as equal partners in society, their families will flourish. And when families flourish, our community and nation does as well. But it's unfortunate just in months of my office duties, we've registered very painful death of very committed women whose devotion rescued many lives in the hospitals .Notably, a paediatrician Dr.Milly Grace Arach of GRRH who passed on due to COVID19 on Sunday 27th June 2021 and Dr.Janet Oola the then DHO Nwoya District who died equally on duty. Please, let us observe a moment of silence in memory of their lives and services to humanity, ever lasting peace be with them Lord, and everlasting light shines upon them, amen.

Ladies & gentlemen,in my few months in office, I 've met and interacted with women groups who are a composition of child mothers, single mothers and widows toiling to raise orphans , taking small loans to do hand to mouth businesses to push days ahead.Indeed, their struggles are the primary reasons for me as their leader to lobby and amplify their voices to attract support from gov't and Dev't partners.
I will research and speak my lung out for their wellness.

As a leader,we are the dustbin for all that defines the society, but we remain united if we are tolerant.Sometimes we are misrepresented and as leaders we take the blames and move on.
